ABOUT INKSPOT

Inkspot is a common ground where writers of all ages, talents, successfulness, and abilities can come together and celebrate the joy of writing as an art form. This flowery explanation, however, does not provide an insight as to wether or not you want to actually read/follow/subscribe to this blog. Allow me to explain, then.

Inkspot's focus is to provide a fun, unique twist on writing tips and tricks. I want to make sure my topics are relevant, but I strive to attempt not to sound overly "preachy" or overlording. After all, I'm a young writer myself, and I'm sure I have as much to learn from my readers as my readers have to learn from me.

Mainly, this blog's focus is writing, in short. I discuss writing techniques, writing tips, help on specific topics, movie and book reviews, and thoughts on certain relevant subjects. I will also provide some fun writing-based games and competitions, on occasion, as well as opportunities to beta-read my writing. Also Batman.

Hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing!

GOOD WORDS ABOUT INKSPOT:

"I truly enjoy reading your blog posts." --Anonymous

"This is totally not even a sort of constructive comment, but I just have to gush for a short minute and say I REALLY LOVE YOUR BLOG. I GET SO EXCITED EVERY TIME YOU POST A THING. ...You blog is very helpful and enjoyable. I follow a lot of writing blogs belonging to people I have met, and this is honestly the first one I have come across that never feels preachy. I love it." --Chloe

"Thank you so much!! Seriously, you have no idea how relieving it is to hear from another young author." --Kassandra

"I've enjoyed your blog and have followed it...I look forward to reading more of your posts." --Athelas Hale

"Thank you for writing this post. My 9-year-old daughter does this and I wasn't sure if that was a normal thing for writers. And I think she thinks it's a bit off, too. She constantly had new ideas for plays, chapter books, short stories, poems, etc. and starts, but isn't great at finishing. I'll just kee[ encouraging her to write whatever pops into her head and someday, I'm sure she'll finish some of it. :)" --Shannon
