FAQs that are not actually FA:

1. IS ANASTASIA CROSS YOUR REAL NAME?
Yes.

2. HOW IS YOUR WRITING GOING?
So-so. I haven't done a ton of writing recently, mainly because college is beating me up one side and down the other. However, I would like to point out that I have been writing poems and such recently, so I haven't been completely useless.

3. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS BLOG?
This blog was originally created (under the clever name of "Across Books") to publicize myself as an author and provide writing help to the author-verse. However, since obviously I wasn't happy with that, I changed my blog up (several times) to fit my own and my reader's needs. Now, to quote Kronk's New Groove, I try to "keep the focus on fun!" I still provide writing tips occasionally, but mostly my posts are discussion or thought-based and provide a sort of insight into writing. I also occasionally do random posts about me, my life, my interests, or for publicity. Occasionally I will do contests or beta-readings, but other than that, I'm basically a goofy girl with something to say.

4. HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am 19 years old. And yes, I go to college; in fact, I am an honors student with a 4.0 gpa in English and Writing. One day, I will probably be a novel editor or a screenwriter.

5. WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED TO RUN A BLOG BASED ON WRITING TIPS AND THOUGHTS?
Well, I don't want to brag, but I've been writing consistently for ten years. In those ten years, I have taken NUMEROUS writing courses (including but in no way limited to One Year Adventure Novel (OYAN), WriteAtHome, Writing Workshop, co-op creative writing classes, etc.) and have written/still writing 4 completed novels. I'm currently working as a writing tutor at my university as well, so obviously someone thinks I'm experienced enough to teach writing. Anyway, in ten years I've learned a looooot about good writing and what it takes to stand out as a writer, and even though I know I have a loooooot more to learn, I'd like to share what I know and what I'm learning with you, if you'll let me.

6. WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH BATMAN OMG.
Don't question my love for Batman. It runs wide and it runs deep, and even if I die in the shadow of Marvel fans everywhere I will forever support DC.

7. WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH JACK FROST OMG.
Because.

8. DO YOU HAVE A LIFE?
Not really.

9. WHY IS YOUR BLOG SO AWESOME?
Well, I put a lot of work into my monthly posts, and I also spend a lot of time making sure the blog looks tip-top. I also spend too much time running my expansive pinterest account, my ever-tweeting twitter page, and my neglected wattpad page.
