THE CYCLE OF TIME

        The Cycle of Time is a cycle of four novels, which chronicle the fantastic journey of two teenagers’ struggle to cope with new and frightening identities before it is too late to save their home. The Cycle of Time takes place in a land called Janíza, which is inhabited by poverty-ridden humans, warring dwarves, wise and magical elves, and warrior fairies.

     Darkness is nearer than the land of Janíza knows. Fire Eye, the ruthless ruler, is weakening the cities, and before the people will be able to react, everything they know will vanish.

     Alli and Dirco, two orphans living in the slums of a secluded village, live in this time. Dirco barely makes enough money from his storytelling to feed them both. Just when Alli is beginning to wonder where their next meal will take place, a stranger appears and hires them to travel with him, claiming he is interested in Dirco's stories. Things only become darker and stranger from there, as both Alli and Dirco are thrown into the midst of a ongoing war that seems to revolve around Dan, the stranger.

     Now neck-deep in a battle that began far before either of them were born, Alli and Dirco struggle to survive as Dan pulls them from one end of Janíza to the other. Questions arise, but he avoids them and insists they keep close. Alli knows Dan isn't who he says he is, but is too scared to ask herself who he could really be. When she is suddenly forced to question everything she has ever known, will she have the strength to fight or will she hide forever in the small village of Geggon?

     The Cycle of Time has just begun. The tests have just started. Before she knows it, Alli will be thrust into a strange new world. If she and Dirco don't accept, all will be lost.

The Cycle of Time: The Sentinels

  Janíza darkens still as Milerax’s evil magic clouds the land. Fire Eye’s armies are prepared to battle. The fairy clan is in danger of being wiped out. Yet the Sentinels must be found.

  Alli and Dirco have completed their journey to the rebel group called the Jaen and are now challenged with finding the Sentinels, the legendary warriors who aided the ancient Guardians of Janíza. With Milerax’s evil creeping onto the island the Jaen calls home, Alli and Dirco set out to the Hylan Islands, unsure of what challenges they will face while recruiting the Sentinels.

  Meanwhile, Eadën must leave his family and take on a new and terrifying adventure. He and his squad of soldiers set out across Ordigon to distract Fire Eye by attacking her city. Coming face-to-face with the life he left long ago, will Eadën give in to his past and join Fire Eye once again?

  The Cycle of Time continues to spin. Darkness is filling the hearts of the heroes of Janíza’s past. If the evil prevails, not even the Sentinels will be able to save what is left.
